They scratch relatively easily. The cakes baked up well and the variety of sizes was very helpful. Shipping was fast. I didn't use the special baking coil in the center of the 10", but it didn't matter, it baked up just fine. I didn't try out the 12" yet. They were incredibly light, unbelievably non-stick, and durable! My cake recipe may have failed me a trial or two, but the pans did great! That being said, if you haven't purchased other Wilton pans before, these may be more lightweight than what you are expecting, but generally they tend to last a bit better than the some of the pans I've bought from other manufacturers. (No rust issues, for instance, but that's because these are aluminum.) I love the four different sizes, as it's really convenient to have all of them. Make sure you grease these pans well for your cake (or whatever you're baking) to come out really easily, as these aren't non-stick. I haven't had any issues with the center of the larger ones not baking even without using anything special to help, either. I'd definitely recommend these for ease of use, quality, and the convenience of the different sizes. |
