If you're not familiar with Nordic Ware's items, you'd be hard pressed to find a higher quality pan and the best part, they're made here in America! Yeah! I've had this pan for the past 3 years and, because I have a "thing" for cute pans, I had to have it. The BEST part is the ring around the bottom that has a train going around it. SOO cute for the little ones in your life. The worst part? Getting the tops of the trees to come out every time without cutting their tops off. It's happened almost every time but this year, I used it as a Jello mold and voila! Had perfect trees! I've used this pan for cakes, of course, but also for the cutest ever orange rolls for Chrismas breakfast, peppermint cakes for Christmas gatherings, and this year, as a Jello mold. It's very heavy, the carvings are gorgeous, and if you buy it for nothing else but just to sit and stare at it, you've done well. For artistic pans, you can't beat Nordic Ware and to me, they've outdone themsolves on this one... Read more

Everyone was impressed with the cake. It looks really nice sprinkled with powdered sugar(snow). I was impressed with the quality of the pan itself. A nice weight not thin aluminum

5.0 out of 5 stars Christmas Bundt Pan, January 6, 2009
This review is from: Nordic Ware Holiday Bundt Tree Pan (Kitchen)
I was so pleased with my purchase! I used the recipe included with the pan but altered a couple things-- I did not use mint flavoring but used almond and increased by a 1/2 tsp. I did not use the full amount of choc chips in the chocolate batter. Just used a small handful. I did use the spray oil with the flour in it to prepare the pan. What a wonderful cake it turned out to be! After dusting it with confectioners sugar, I drizzled good quality melted chocolate to decorate the "trees". Put a large candlestick with 6" candle in the middle and lit it at presentation time of dessert for Christmas dinner. Served it with a warm vanilla sauce for added treat. Lots of oohs and ahs and "where did you get that pan" questions. I'll do it again and figure our some other holiday to do it again. Maybe I won't separate the batter to a chocolate but keep all the same and put fresh strawberries in the center with a bloop of whipped cream. Oh, yeah! A summer delight, too.
